Two years after Commander Shepard repelled the invading Reapers bent on the destruction of organic life, a mysterious new enemy emerges. On the fringes of known space, something is silently abducting entire human colonies. Shepard must work with Cerberus, a ruthless organization devoted to human survival at any cost, to stop the most terrifying threat mankind has ever faced.
To even attempt this perilous mission, Shepard must assemble the galaxy's most elite team and command the most powerful ship ever built. Even so, they say it will be suicide. Commander Shepard intends to prove them wrong.
Episode 24: "Old Machine"
With the team fully assembled, and all team members' personal matters dealt with, Shepard feels that they are ready to attack the Collectors. However, they must first retrieve the Reaper IFF from the a 37 million year old derelict Reaper in order to gain safe passage through the Omega-4 relay.
